Founder and President

Emmie is a junior at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla. As a student who enjoys both STEM subjects and the social sciences, Emmie’s discovery of data science prompted her to apply her knowledge and skills from mathematics and computer science towards studying data-driven policymaking. Through Data Science for Change, Emmie looks to help other interested students explore this field, discovering the intersection of STEM and the social sciences. Emmie also serves as the Co-Director of Operations and Director of Mathematics for the All Girls STEM Society and tutors with Kid by Kid. In her free time, Emmie travels with her family, plays soccer and tennis, and chases her 10-pound dog around her front lawn.
