Cate School

Grant is a 12th-grade student at the Cate School in Carpinteria, California. His early childhood fascination with solving jigsaw puzzles sparked his enduring love for data science and mathematics. Bringing his passions to other people, he was nominated for his school’s head mathematics peer tutor while also teaching younger students in his local community. Grant weaves together his passion for math, data science, and connecting with people into the powerful intersection of social impact and data-driven solutions. Outside of the classroom, he can be seen as a defenseman for his school’s lacrosse team or singing for his school’s acapella group.
