Director of Social Media and Design

Sophia Lampe is an artist with over 8 years of experience in creating traditional art, 3 years of experience in digital art, and also a member of multiple volunteer organizations. For the majority of her life, she has been creating traditional art. Her main focus centers around drawing and a bit of painting, however, she has also recently expanded her artistic capabilities into digital art as well. Some highlights from her digital art experience include portraits, character designs, room layouts, logo designing, clothing designs, calligraphy, and being able to learn color theory. In addition to practicing art, she is also an active volunteer. For example, she has volunteered at Helen Woodward animal shelter, where she had the opportunity to paint the faces of guests with other volunteers during seasonal events. She is also a reoccurring volunteer at 92130 Cares, an organization that distributes food to low income housing areas. She is a completely self-taught artist who strives to create more digital art, specifically logo design and graphic design. She wants to be able to help others through her art and expand her abilities to experience new types of art. She looks forward to continuing her involvement in Data Science for Change!
