Bahcesehir High School for Science and Technology

Yasemin is a 12th-grade student at Bahcesehir High School for Science and Technology in Istanbul. She has always had a particular passion for mathematics. Her mathematical foundation combined with several computer science classes helped her discover the field of data science which she considers to be a turning point for her. For over a year, she has been studying several machine learning algorithms and their applications on topics like business and medicine. She has also been sharing her programming knowledge with kids in elementary school on an online educational platform. In her free time, she likes to play volleyball or learn to play new songs on the piano.
